Aim of this Course / Target Group

Operate Without Limits — Get Your C0 Licence.

Ready to take command of the biggest cranes in the industry? Our C0 Slewing Mobile Crane Licence Course gives you the advanced skills, knowledge, and national qualification to operate slewing mobile cranes with a maximum rated capacity (MRC) over 100 tonnes, in compliance with all relevant WorkSafe and Australian High Risk Work Licence regulations.

Who should attend?
Highly experienced crane operators progressing from a C1 licence, or those working in major construction, infrastructure, shutdowns, or heavy lift logistics where lifts exceed 100 tonnes.

Course Content

The program addresses the following:

  • Applying relevant mathematical calculations
  • Pre start, start up, after start and shut down procedures
  • Operating the machine
  • Working near powerlines
  • Safe load handling
  • Emergency procedures

Assessment Method

Knowledge based questionnaires and practical demonstration

Pre-requisites

Must have basic English literacy skills and be over 18 years of age

Whilst this course has no pre-requisite requirements, as a requirement by Australian Training Management all candidates must hold a current Dogging High Risk Licence (DG) as well as a C6 HRWL for at least 12 months.

Course Requirements: Please make sure you have 1 primary photo ID (eg. drivers licence, passport or current HRWL)

Academic Award & Recognition

Upon successful completion participants will be issued with the following Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment:

  • TLILIC0020 - Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 Tonnes)

CTF Pricing For Eligible Customers

This subsidised rate is available to eligible companies under our bulk billing arrangement with the Construction Training Fund (CTF).

Individuals may still be eligible for the subsidy; however, they must submit their claims directly to CTF, as we are unable to claim on their behalf. For more information about the individual claim process, please contact the CTF directly.

CTF provides funding support to assist with the training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the CTF’s contribution in helping reduce training costs for eligible participants.

Optional Licensing Processing

New and Add Class Applications: $110 WorkSafe fee will apply if requested for ATM to process licence application (This price is inclusive of 1 passport photo)

Transferring Interstate Licences and Adding a Class: $150 WorkSafe fee will apply if requested for ATM to process licence application (This price is inclusive of 1 passport photo) - Please call us to make the booking over the phone if this is the case

What To Wear

All course participants are required to wear long sleeve pants, a long sleeve shirt and steel cap boots.

Morning Tea & Lunch

Feel free to grab a tea, coffee or snack before the course starts and during the course breaks.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch as it is NOT provided.
