Slewing Crane (over 100 tonnes)
Aim of this Course / Target Group
The aim of this training is to impart to participants the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane with a maximum rated capacity (MRC) over 100 tonnes, in accordance with all relevant legislative responsibilities.The course is aligned to the nationally recognized unit TLILIC0015 - Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 tonnes) which specifies the outcomes required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane with a maximum rated capacity (MRC) up to 20 tonnes, in accordance with all relevant legislative responsibilities
Please note: The course may be completed within a shorter or longer time frame depending on the experience of those in attendance
The program addresses the following:
- Applying relevant mathematical calculations
- Pre start, start up, after start and shut down procedures
- Operating the machine
- Working near powerlines
- Safe load handling
- Emergency procedures
Knowledge based questionnaires and practical demonstration
Must have basic English literacy skills and be over 18 years of age
Must hold a current Dogging High Risk Licence (DG)
Must hold a current C1 High Risk Licence
Academic Award & Recognition
Upon successful completion participants will be issued with the following Statement of Attainment which will be recognised nationally:
- TLILIC0015 - Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 tonnes)
What To Wear
All course participants are required to wear appropriate work attire. Steel capped safety boots are required for all high risk courses.
Morning Tea & Lunch
All participants will be offered morning tea and for those attending full day courses lunch is provided (an assortment of sandwiches and hot finger foods).Persons with special dietary requirements should cater for their personal needs.
$2000.00 (This price is inclusive of 2 passport photos) $100 Worksafe fee will apply if requested for ATM to process licence application
