Slewing Crane (up to 60 tonnes)
Aim of this Course / Target Group
The aim of this training is to impart to participants the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane with a maximum rated capacity (MRC) up to 60 tonnes, in accordance with all relevant legislative responsibilities.
The course is aligned to the nationally recognised unit TLILIC0013 - Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes) which specifies the outcomes required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane with a maximum rated capacity (MRC) up to 60 tonnes, in accordance with all relevant legislative responsibilitiesDuration

Please note: The course may be completed within a shorter or longer time frame depending on the experience of those in attendance
Course Content
The program addresses the following:
- Applying relevant mathematical calculations
- Pre start, start up, after start and shut down procedures
- Operating the machine
- Working near powerlines
- Safe load handling
- Emergency procedures
Assessment Method
Knowledge based questionnaires and practical demonstration
Pre-requisites
Must have basic English literacy skills and be over 18 years of age
Must hold a current Dogging High Risk Licence (DG)
Academic Award & Recognition
Upon successful completion participants will be issued with the following Statement of Attainment which will be recognised nationally:
- TLILIC0013 - Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes)
What To Wear
All course participants are required to wear appropriate work attire. Steel capped safety boots are required for all high risk courses.
Morning Tea & Lunch
All participants will be offered morning tea and for those attending full day courses lunch is provided (an assortment of sandwiches and hot finger foods).
Persons with special dietary requirements should cater for their personal needs.

$1750.00 (This price is inclusive of 2 passport photos and Worksafe application fees)
CTF Subsidy
$525.00 After CTF Subsidy
This subsidy is available to eligible participants only.
The Construction Training Fund provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the support of the Construction Training Fund in reducing the costs of training for eligible workers.
