Traineeships
What is a Traineeship?
A Traineeship is a structured program, usually in a non-trade related
area, which is available to both part-time and full-time employees. Traineeships
are usually for a nominal duration of 12 months for a Certificate II and
24 months for a Certificate III qualification.
The outcome of Traineeship training is a Qualification recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Who can do a traineeship?

Pty Ltd strongly encourages employers to consider every employee
regardless of age as a potential trainee. Specifically, employees must:
Be a PAYE full- or part-time employee (not contract)
Not already have a Certificate III or above qualification in a similar industry
How does it work?
For every approved Certificate III traineeship registration an employer will receive a Commonwealth Incentive payment of up to $4,000.00* In return for this Commonwealth Incentive Payment participating employers are required to contract a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) of their choice to deliver the formal qualification outcomes sought through the chosen program.
