Meet The Team


PETER LEWIS

Founding Director

Peter has over 40 years of hands on experience in the civil construction and mining industries.

In 1989 Peter, along with his wife Susan, established Earthmoving Industry Training Services which in July 2000 became Australian Training Management Pty Ltd.

Although having sold his controlling interest in the business Peter remains with the company and is responsible for business development in building, civil construction and mining with a particular focus on enabling clients to take advantage of traineeship funding and government incentives.

ALAN GREGORY

CEO

Alan has almost 30 years’ experience in the aviation, aerospace, training and defence industries.

Alan has successfully project managed $20M+ contracts on behalf of international clients and foreign Governments, managing quotation preparation, contract negotiation, stakeholder engagement, product development, service integration strategies, implementation, evaluation and quality systems development.

Responsible for all business activities and product development at Australian Training Management Pty Ltd, Alan collaborates with clients and RTO Partners to maximise capability, capacity and opportunity; adding value, flexibility and success.

SUSAN LEWIS

Accounts Manager

Susan has over 25 years of hands on experience in the management of training organisations as a vocational education and training business owner.

Completing a Cert IV in training and assessment to compliment her understanding of the training sector Susan has a special interest in Indigenous training as a Badimaya woman.

Susan is responsible for financial management, accounts, payroll and human resources.

KRISTEN FARMER

Client Relations

Kristen was previously engaged as Australian Training Management's Training Coordinator and in using her significant knowledge of local industry and project management, has now moved into her current role as client manager.

Kristen has worked in the construction industry for several years, initially on the Gladstone power station in Queensland, followed by roles at the State Electricity Commission and Brisbane Chamber of Commerce.

Kristen has worked at national level for seven years and then as WA State Manager for Brauer for nineteen years, she uses this vast experience in her current role to develop business initiatives and to offer service excellence to all clients.

JOHN BERTOLI

Trainer & High risk work assessor

John has 35 years’ supervisory experience in the civil and building construction, High Risk Work, plant operations, transport and logistics, business and training industries.

Greatly respected within industry, a wealth of highly relevant qualifications underpin John’s ability to deliver courses with poise, knowledge and authority. A skilled, approachable and methodical Trainer, John is able to inspire students from all levels of industry and backgrounds; delivering positive training outcomes and experiences.

John’s responsibilities include course design and development, the delivery of Traineeships, plant operator training, VET programs and High Risk Work licences.

AARON LEAFE

Trainer & High risk work assessor

Aaron has almost 20 years first hand industry experience in the mining, civil and building construction, asbestos removal, High Risk Work, OH&S, traffic management and training sectors.

Highly qualified, friendly, with advanced communication skill, Aaron has the ability to involve all learner types, whilst making learning experiences engaging, rewarding and enjoyable; adding significant value to corporate and private client portfolios.

Aaron has vast expertise in and is responsible for client training needs analysis, course design and development, and the facilitation and assessment of VET programs and High Risk Work licences.

PETER BURSEY

Trainer & High risk work assessor

Peter has 25+ years relevant and recent industry experience in the High Risk Work, Mining, Civil Construction, WH&S, Plant Operations and training industries.

Highly qualified, industry respected and friendly, with highly developed communication skills, Peter has an innate ability to engage all learners, whilst making learning experiences fulfilling and enjoyable for clients; ensuring job readiness, whilst adding value to corporate portfolios.

Engaged by Worksafe WA to provide industry insight, Peter has a vast expertise in the High Risk Work environment and is responsible for client training needs analysis, course development and the compliance of HRW VET programs to maximise client performance on project delivery.

GEORGE DRAGOVIC

Trainer Assessor

George has over 40 years' of operator and supervisor experience in the civil and building construction, plant operations, high risk work, transport and logistics industries and in the Vocational Education & Training sector.

Highly regarded and respected withing the industry, George brings a vast amount of construction site supervision and project management capability to ATM; underpinned by his ability to deliver training and traineeships with assurance, knowledge and expertise. A friendly, skilled and meticulous Training, George can motivate students from all levels on industry and cultural background; delivering progressive job-readiness training and positive life and learning experiences

George's responsibilities include plant operator training, the delivery of Traineeships, VET accredited programs, the supervision of on-site activities, training course design and development.

NICKY NAPPER

Training Coordinator

Nicky has over 12 years' experience in the VET and client service industries. Highly professional and with a 'client first' attitude, Nicky has successfully specialised in the client management and coordination of training projects, including the delivery of flexible training solutions to enhance client capability.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills enable Nicky to quickly built rapport with clients. Nicky eagerly sources Government funding and employer incentives on behalf of clients to reduce course attendance and traineeship costs; always delivering true quality of service and adding value for all stakeholders.

Nicky is responsible for the coordination of all training activities and traineeship services; Nicky works in harmony with stakeholders to maximise client benefit; creating capability and success.

MITCHELL BENTLEY

I.T Administrator

Mitchell joined the company in 2011 under a Certificate III in Information Technology Traineeship.

Mitchell now manages all infrastructure and IT within the business. Assisting in the development of our highly acclaimed mobile e-assessment tool, Mitchell is the primary point of contact for mobile app support and the creation and implementation of all new or updated e-assessment tools. He is also responsible for the design and development of our online courses and resources.

HANNAH SCHAUB

Training Administrator

Hannah has been part of the Australian Training Management team since 2015, where her friendly, vibrant personality welcomes clients in her Reception and Training Administration role.

Well-travelled, experienced and culturally aware, Hannah worked at Conifex Fibre Marketing in Vancouver, Canada as an Administrative Officer in the Sales and Marketing Department. Previously working for WorkSafe Licensing as a Business Services Officer and briefly for Energy Safety, Hannah’s regulatory knowledge has added value to her role within the RTO.

Diligent and ambitious, Hannah is nearing completion of her Certificate III in Business, where she uses her skills and knowledge daily to enhance client services and experiences.
